IPTV Smarters Pro Setup

Every setup follows the same three steps: install a player, enter three fields, wait for the list to load. Only how the app gets onto the device changes. Pick yours below.

Choose Your Device

Each guide is written for that platform specifically — the right app for it, and the steps in order.

Firestick & Fire TV

Amazon's store doesn't carry most IPTV players, so the app is fetched through Downloader with a short code. Sounds technical; takes about two minutes. Firestick guide →

Samsung, LG & Android TV

Installed straight from the television's own store — nothing to plug in. Android TV is the easiest; Samsung and LG vary by model year. Smart TV guide →

Windows & Mac

The simplest of all, because you paste the credentials rather than typing them on a remote. Also the best tool for diagnosing a problem elsewhere. PC & Mac guide →

iPhone, iPad & Android

IPTV Smarters Pro from the App Store or Google Play, iOS 12 and later. Same credentials as your TV — sign in and everything is there. Ask for the steps →

MAG & Formuler boxes

MAG boxes use a portal URL rather than an app, and we register the box's MAC address at our end. Formuler and other Android boxes follow the Android TV route. Send us your model →

Which app to use

Start with IPTV Smarters Pro — free, on everything, and what these guides assume. TiviMate has a faster guide and recording but is Android-only with paid extras. VLC is for testing a stream plays, nothing more.

Xtream Codes, M3U and the Three Fields

What you'll be sent

After ordering you get a message containing several things, and you only need one of the two login methods. Xtream Codes is a server URL, a username and a password — three short fields. M3U is a single long URL with your credentials embedded in it. There's also a Downloader code, which is used only on Firestick and only to fetch the app; it isn't a login.

Always prefer Xtream Codes

Both reach the same service, but Xtream Codes pulls the programme guide and catch-up in automatically and is far easier to enter on a remote. M3U guide support is patchier and varies by app. Keep M3U as the fallback for apps that only accept a playlist URL — and when you use it, paste rather than type. One wrong character in an 80-character URL produces an error identical to a dead subscription.

The four things that go wrong

In order of how often we see them: a typo in the credentials — watch for a capital I against a lowercase l, and trailing spaces when pasting. Wi-Fi rather than bandwidth — a stick two rooms from the router stutters on a gigabit line. Not enough speed for 4K — drop to HD and see whether it clears. And ISP throttling, which is rarer but real: fine at 10am, unwatchable at 8pm, on a line that speed-tests fine at both.

Do you need a VPN?

Usually not, and try without one first — a VPN adds latency and can cost you speed. It helps in exactly one situation: an internet provider slowing streaming traffic, which shows up as that morning-fine / evening-unwatchable pattern. If that's what you're seeing, it's worth testing.

One subscription, every device

Credentials aren't tied to hardware. Install them on the Firestick, both TVs, two phones, a tablet and a laptop — all work. Your plan limits how many play at the same time, never how many are set up. Adding a device never requires a new order.

Common Questions

IPTV Smarters Pro on almost every device — free, on all platforms, and what these guides assume. TiviMate has a faster guide and recording on Android and Firestick, but it's Android-only and the best features are paid.

Xtream Codes is three short fields and pulls the guide automatically. M3U is one long URL with your credentials inside it. Use Xtream Codes wherever it's offered.

Usually not. Try without one first — a VPN adds latency. It helps mainly when an ISP is throttling streaming traffic, which looks like fine-in-the-morning, unwatchable-in-the-evening.

Yes — install on as many as you own. Your plan limits simultaneous streams, not installations.

Sent to WhatsApp and email within minutes of ordering. Keep the message — you'll need the same details when you add a device, and they don't change for the life of your subscription.
